Bollywood Actress Parineeti Chopra Ties the Knot with AAP Leader Raghav Chadha in Lavish Udaipur Wedding
Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra (age 34) married Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha (age 34) in a grand wedding ceremony held at The Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan on September 24, 2023. The star-studded event saw family, friends, politicians and celebrities in attendance to bless the popular couple.
Pre-Wedding Celebrations
The wedding festivities kicked off earlier this week with the bride and groom arriving in Udaipur along with their families and close friends. A colourful mehndi ceremony was held at the luxury venue which had elaborate floral arrangements and decor. Parineeti looked radiant in a yellow outfit as she got Mehndi applied on her hands.
The couple also had a ’90s theme party that included performances by popular singer Navraj Hans.
The Fun-Filled Sangeet Night
The grand sangeet night on Friday saw energetic performances from both sides – the bride’s friends from Bollywood and the groom’s buddies from his political party. Director Karan Johar shook a leg with the baaratis while comedian Bharti Singh entertained the attendees with her funny antics. The highlight of the evening was Parineeti’s performance on her hit dance numbers that got everyone grooving.
The Wedding Day
On the morning of the wedding, a traditional chooda ceremony was held for Parineeti where she wore red and white bangles from her maternal uncle. Her brother Shivang Chopra also performed the ‘sehrabandi’ ritual and tied the sehra on groom Raghav Chadha’s turban.
In the evening, Raghav made a grand entry riding a ghodi and arrived at the venue with his baraat. Decked in a white sherwani, he looked dapper while Parineeti exuded bridal glory in a red and gold lehenga. The couple then took ‘phere’ around the holy fire to seal their wedding as per Hindu rituals.

Celebrity Guest List
Many prominent personalities attended the high-profile wedding. Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra sent her best wishes but could not attend due to work commitments. However, Parineeti’s close friends from the film industry including Sania Mirza, Huma Qureshi and others marked their presence.
Groom Raghav Chadha had top leaders from AAP in attendance including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, MP Sanjay Singh and MLA Somnath Bharti. The Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot also graced the occasion. Spiritual leader BK Shivani added divinity to the celebrations by blessing the couple.
The Lavish Venue – The Leela Palace
The royal wedding venue The Leela Palace was decked up with elaborate floral arrangements by well-known designers. Several areas like the courtyard and poolside were done up based on different themes. The menu included a variety of cuisines like traditional Rajasthani, Punjabi, South Indian and Lebanese delicacies.
From mehendi to pheras, every ceremony was marked with pomp and grandeur. Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s dreamy wedding will definitely go down in history as one of the most memorable Bollywood weddings.
