Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor was recently moved to tears after receiving high praise from his father-in-law, veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. Bhatt described Ranbir as “the best father in the world” while speaking about his relationship with granddaughter Raha.

“When Raha was born, I saw Ranbir weep like a child seeing his daughter for the first time,” said Bhatt during an event for Ranbir’s upcoming film ‘Animal.’ “What stood out was just how he loves his daughter unconditionally.”

Bhatt went on to call Ranbir “not only a great actor but the best father in the world.” His words brought Ranbir to tears, who said, “I’ve gotten my father-in-law’s approval.”

Ranbir and his wife Alia Bhatt welcomed Raha in November 2022. Since then, Ranbir has been spotted on several occasions doting on his baby girl. Both sets of grandparents, including Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor, have also heaped praise on Ranbir’s parenting skills.
