Anupama Written Update 4 August 2024 –
Anuj’s Pain and Regret
The episode starts with Anuj asking Anupama to ask the fathers around what they would feel if their child said a final goodbye to them. He says he felt like he died when his daughter left because he chose to stay with Anupama.
He regrets choosing love over his daughter and blames himself and Anupama for losing Aadhya. He feels they metaphorically murdered her. Anuj cries, saying his daughter is dead, and Anupama tries to comfort him, insisting that Aadhya is alive.
Anuj, however, believes she is gone forever and blames himself and Anupama for it. Vanraj hugs Anuj, empathizing with his pain.
Vanraj’s Harsh Words
Vanraj tells Anuj that he warned him about Anupama. He criticizes Anupama, saying she ruins everything and everyone around her. Toshu and Pakhi express their deep hatred towards her, claiming she is a terrible mother.
Kinjal tries to defend Anupama, but Toshu accuses her of caring more for strangers than her own family. Vanraj tells Anupama to remove “Ma” from her name, claiming she failed in all her relationships.
Anupama refuses to justify herself to them and focuses on comforting Anuj.
Family Conflict
Anupama tells Anuj to ignore the others and come with her. Anuj, however, is devastated and unable to move on.
Vanraj curses Anupama, saying she has ended up alone and empty-handed despite having everything before. Kinjal and Titu try to show sympathy, but Vanraj insists they leave.
Anupama sits down and cries while Indra and Nandita feel bad for her.
Ankush and Barkha’s Scheme
Ankush admits to Barkha that bringing Anupama was a bad idea. He worries she might find Anuj.
Barkha, however, is more concerned about Anupama than Aadhya. A flashback reveals they brought Anuj to India for their benefit, changing his medicines to worsen his condition. Ankush took over Anuj’s business by making him sign papers while he was unwell.
Ankush regrets their actions but acknowledges they did it for their gain.
Meenu’s Encounter
Meenu leaves the hospital and encounters senior students who try to bully her.
Sagar intervenes, saying his dad is the head of the department, which makes the seniors leave. He offers Meenu a ride and ensures she gets home safely.
Shah Family’s Concern
Back at the Shah house, everyone feels sorry for Anuj and Aadhya. Vanraj talks about Anuj’s troubled past and how he never found peace.
Pakhi feels bad for Anuj but insists they can’t let him stay in their locality. The family fears for their safety if Anuj stays. Vanraj decides to take action, seeing Meenu getting out of Sagar’s auto and getting angry.
Bala tries to comfort Anupama, reminding her that Anuj doesn’t know what he’s saying.
